Working with a new laptop of Capgemini for the first time from the day of Service Commencement includes a risk for
Capgemini. For that reason all tools and access is preferably arranged and handed over a few weeks before Service
Commencement. This enables the staff to test all facilities upfront.
Another mitigation action is to ask the Client, incumbent or services related third party for temporary use of facilities
during the first weeks of service delivery.
This could include the use of the office space, laptops, licenses and tokens needed to do the work either at the old
location or from remote. In case there are issues at the Capgemini location, with the Capgemini laptops and tools or with
the Capgemini tokens these facilities can be used instead. All facilities on loan will transfer at the same moment as the
moment the staff transfers.
The facilities will be loaned or hired for a limited period of time based on a contract especially made up for this
situation. A typical loan or hire period is 4 weeks, the price is often symbolic like 1 euro in Europe. Temporary
